A Clinical Developmental Educator is an allied health professionals who specialises in supporting neurodivergent people to develop functional life skills such as communication, social skills, daily living and so much more.

They can undertake functional, behavioural and developmental assessments to help work out the areas that will benefit from support. These assessments can also be used in your NDIS application and plan review.

Clinical Developmental Educators are also skilled in positive behaviour support and can develop plans to use in the home, community and school. 


Kereth Harris, Clinical Developmental Educator and Allied Health Professional,

Kereth is a warm, approachable expert who’s lived the experience of raising neurodivergent children. She doesn’t tire in the journey to get your child everything they’re entitled to as someone who deserves to live a fulfilled life. She is highly skilled in supporting children with a range of disability and neurodiversity.

She has created successful home and school programs for children through working collaboratively with schools and allied health practitioners, and has gained significant academic qualifications to support her services. She is also an autism specialist and a fully qualified school teacher. Kereth also has a skill set covering social communication, emotional regulation, behaviour support and transitions and has 30 years’ experience working with children.

Along with her academic qualifications, Kereth has two neurodivergent children of her own. She brings a unique skill to the sector because she understands what’s behind a child’s sometimes challenging behaviour and the pressure they can be under caused by having to fight too many battles on too many fronts. Her approach is perceptive and sensitive. She also loves to bring a playful element to the table in each session.

Kereth is currently working on her Doctorate of Education on parental involvement in the Individual Educational Plan process. This research seeks to further academic knowledge on the positive impact of parent involvement.
